Please read the following rules thoroughly before posting.
1) Only bump your thread after it leaves the first page. Threads that have gone off the first page and are not being bumped are no longer considered active.
- Also do not grave dig old threads, unless it is to add something significant to the original post. The staff have chosen to define gravedigging in the following way: threads older than one month without new posts.
2) Post in the correct Section. If you are uncertain which section would be best suited to your topic, you can contact a moderator before posting.
3) Do not create two (or more) threads regarding the same thing for hopes of "more views" or anything of the like. This includes, but is not limited to, sales, wanted ads, general chat, art, etc. You only need one thread per topic. Any doubles will be locked without advance notice. Also don't make posts for the specific reason to link to another thread.
4) Do not post about locked threads. Don't try to continue discussion about a locked thread without a mod's permission. Furthermore, do not start a thread on a subject you know has caused issues and/or been locked on a previous occasion due to its subject matter.
- Likewise, discussion of frozen accounts is not allowed.
5) If there's already a thread regarding a certain topic, join that one rather than making a new thread saying the exact same thing.
6) Do not make posts criticizing how others play. This club is very open with numerous possible goals and ways to get there. Everyone can decide for themselves which cure they like, how they breed, price or design (for some examples). If they do not violate the Rules, it's their choice how they play.
- Please be aware that this behavior would be regarded as harassment and/or targeting.
7) This is a public forum. This means that anyone and everyone on the site is welcome to read your thread and respond to it. If you are not prepared for the fact that people may disagree with your point of view, and do not feel you will be able to respond in a civil and mature manner, please think carefully about posting in the first place, as you will risk your thread being locked if you allow it to get heated.
- There are some subjects that are deemed to be unsuitable for discussion. If a moderator advises you that your thread falls into one of these areas, or you become aware that a subject is unsuitable, please don't make another thread on that subject in future. Please respect the moderators’ judgment. Subjects that are unsuitable include (but are not limited to) illegal activities, discussion of graphic violence or graphic sexuality, politics and religion.
8) Begging is strictly forbidden. This includes asking for "Donations" to adoption centers or giveaways. Begging is defined as asking for wajas, items, currency, etc. without offering something of relatively fair trade value in return.
9) Mini-modding is not allowed. If you see a player behaving incorrectly on the forums or violating rules, do not take it upon yourself to handle the situation. Instead, click on the "report post" link, or if a matter needs a quicker response, contact a moderator directly about the thread/issue in question to be taken care of. However, mini-modding is not to be confused with being helpful.
- While it’s fine to gently remind a player they have included a swear or other violation they might not have noticed, it must be done in a respectful manner, and not with any degree of sarcasm, aggression or superiority.
- Although people often find others' grammar, spelling or writing style annoying, you are reminded that unless the post falls into the following rule and isn't the best a player is capable of, they are not breaking any rules. If you feel a post needs changing, click the "report post" link, or send a message to a moderator, and DO NOT comment on the thread.
- The moderators need to keep track of players' behavior, and are unable to do so if situations are mini-modded by other players, and mini-modding can also provoke animosity, which may lead to harassment.
10) As this site is frequented by a multilingual community, and a number of people don't have English as their first language, you are required to use the best English available to you on the forums.
- If a moderator advises you that something you have posted is causing difficulties for others, please edit as requested. Failure to do so could result in your post being deleted, possibly a warning, and if it continues, a forum ban.
11) Do not spam the forums. Spamming includes posting one word responses or irrelevant comments on threads, or posting multiple threads of the same thing. While creating threads to advertise your sales is fine, posting or messaging unsolicited advertisements, requests, etc. on other people's threads will be counted as spam.
12) You must be truthful in all of your posts to the best of your knowledge. You may not scam or otherwise deceive other users. This includes exaggerating or spreading misinformation about features of the club.
- You must also follow through with auctions and contests you make. You may not cancel a contest once you have received entries unless you have stated from the very start you are requiring a specific minimum number of entries. You may not cancel an auction unless you state you reserve the right to do so from the start, and you must cancel the auction prior to the end time. If the end time passes with no cancellation or extension, and there are active bids, it is the same as selling it, and you must deliver what you promised.
Above all, you are required to be respectful to others on all of the forums and threads.
