Prologue

When the world was created there was only Darkness, the Darkness had felt lonely. It had the power to separate itself, but feared the outcome. However this loneliness grew till one day it dared. What it had created was Light. With the creation of Light, both Light and Darkness wanted a child to care for. Since Light was a female and Darkness was a male, they created twins resembling themselves. This was the creation of Dream and Nightmare. Both Light and Darkness wanted a perfect world for their children and had tried their best to make them feel at peace. However, the twin siblings bickered incessantly and were constantly at battle with the other. Dream and Nightmare, learned how to travel into other dimensions, and had found a way into the minds of creatures in other worlds, while they were in a stage called sleep. Both Dream and Nightmare, snuck into these creature's minds and whispered things in the dark.  They wanted these creatures on their side and to follow their beliefs, but through this they only created Evil and Virtuous.

Nightmare was believed to follow in the footsteps of his Father, Darkness, by creating chaos and fears. Dream was said to follow in her Mother's footsteps, by creating hope and harmony. Both of the twins believed their actions were the right thing, for no one could appreciate one without the other. If fears did not exist, the hope would never live. However, the Evil and Virtuous they created was worse than themselves, especially when the creatures began a war. The Evil decided to kill the Mother of Dream and Nightmare, what best way to create the deadliest war of all time? Virtuous tried to stop Evil, but only found himself thrown into another dimension, long forgotten. With the Death of Mother Light, everything had started to fall apart.

The day it happened, the light had vanished, the Darkness once more was ruler in the dark dark world. Dream,not knowing about Evil, had assumed that her brother Nightmare, had killed their Mother. She was filled with dark despair thoughts that were against her very beliefs, in fear of herself, she fled into the world of wajas. Soon she was consumed by the minds of the caretakers within the waja world, her power granted each caretaker the power of hope for the perfect waja. Nightmare, jealous of his Sister's love for his Mother, followed after her. His mind was shattered into each caretaker as well, creating the despair of terrible breedings. Because, they were both thrown into the hearts of every caretaker, they had created the power of free will to cause despair or hope; Nightmares or Dreams.

The caretakers that allowed the nightmares to consume them started calling themselves, Nightshade. Soon they started to make nightmares come alive, these nightmares were created by a waja drinking the "cure". When a waja drank a "cure" by the Nightshade caretaker it would become that caretaker's darkest fears. These dark "cured" wajas were named "Chaos", and have started to spread chaos all around the waja world. It was found that the "cure" was inheritable and the pups had chaos within their hearts as well.

The members that allowed the dreams to fill their hearts, called themselves Reveries, and in finding the chaos spreading, decided to fight against it. The counter-measure they took was to create their own "cure". Which had ended up creating a greater darker chaos than Chaos itself. It seemed as if this chaos was too strong and would forever grow.

Until one "cure" tamed the chaos within, a cure was found to cause something strange. If a waja with this cure was bred with a chaos waja it caused the pups to have a choice, to choose chaos or be a Dream's cure. The Reverie caretakers started to place these "cured" wajas with the Chaos wajas in hopes of taming the chaos, it seems to suppress it, but only momentarily.

The Nightshades are constantly trying to create a stronger more deadly chaos wajas, while the Reveries are constantly trying to create the perfect cure. Each having their own definition of the cure. This is where our world had turned.
